J&K reports 6 new covid-19 cases, no death
Jammu and Kashmir reported six new covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the pathogen in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.
They said that all the six cases were reported from Jammu district, taking the overall tally to 454248—166470 in Jammu division and 287778 in Kashmir.
There was also no death due to the pathogen reported in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4752 persons have succumbed to the virus—2328 in Jammu and 2424 in Kashmir.
Besides, they said, nine Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—six from Jammu division and three from Kashmir. So far 449432 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 64— 48 in Jammu and 16 in Kashmir.
The officials told GNS there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 8063 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K. (GNS)
