Time for NC to do what suits the party as opposition unity seems imaginary: Omar Abdullah
National Conference vice-president, Omar Abdullah has said that the opposition unity is imaginary and that National Conference should do what suits the party rather than waste time chasing ghosts.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Omar said that political parties will ultimately do what is in their own interest.
He said that J&K saw this when it was left high and dry by “friends” in 2019 and now it is time for the NC to do what suits the party rather than waste time chasing ghosts.
“Opposition unity is a bit of a chimera. Ultimately political parties will do what’s in their own interest & that’s as it should be. J&K saw this when we were left high & dry by “friends” in 2019. It’s time for @JKNC_ to do suits the party rather than waste time chasing ghosts,” he tweeted. (KNS)
