Re-Poll For Two DDC Seats In Kashmir On December 5
SRINAGAR: The State Election Commission has ordered a re-poll in DDC constituency Hajin-A in district Bandipora and Drugmulla in district Kupwara of Kashmir.
Quoting an order newspaper Daily Excelsior reported that re-poll in Hajin-A and Drugmulla shall be held on December 5 from 7 am to 2 pm. The counting shall be done on December 8 and the poll process shall conclude on December 12.
With the announcement of polls, provisions of Model Code of Conduct have come into force with immediate effect in both the concerned DDC constituencies.
Even as polling in both these constituencies was held along with others in DDC elections 2020, the counting of votes was withheld after it was detected that some contesting candidates had entered wrong information in Form-6. Later, polling held in both the constituencies was declared as void.
