J-K: One died, 6 injured in ‘mortar shell blast’ inside factory
One person died and six others were injured in a mortar shell blast inside a factory in the Samba district on Saturday, officials said.
A police official confirmed the death of one person and identified him as Mohan Lal. He said six persons injured in the incident inside the factory namely “Subash Chandra and Sons” have been shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
Meanwhile, SSP Samba, Benam Tosh said, “One person has died, six people have been injured in mortar shell blast in the scrap factory. The deceased has been identified as Mohan Lal from Rajouri. Mortar shells are brought here after they are neutralised. There is no terror angle in this incident.”
