Progress of projects
The J & K administration is closely monitoring progress of many projects including in the health sector.
Recently Advisor Bhatnagar visited the construction site of GMC Udhampur. He reviewed progress of ongoing works.
Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Saloni Rai; Principal GMC Udhampur, senior officers of Public Works, health and other allied departments accompanied the Advisor during the visit.
During the inspection, he meticulously reviewed the progress of each component of the project and engaged in thorough deliberations with workmen to address any hindrances hampering the smooth execution of the project.
While reviewing the progress of works, Advisor Bhatnagar stressed upon the officers of the executing agency to expedite the pace of works and ensure its completion as per the given timelines. He called upon them to monitor the progress on a regular basis besides directing them to deploy additional manpower at construction sites for timely completion of this project.
He asked the Deputy Commissioner to monitor the progress on a fortnightly basis, ensuring the timely completion of this prestigious project through effective coordination with executing agencies.
He highlighted the significance of GMC Udhampur in bolstering healthcare services in the district and reiterated the government’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art facilities for medical education and patient care.
