MCC guidelines
In every district of Jammu and Kashmir authorises are stressing on strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) guidelines issued by ECI.
Recently the District Election Officer (DEO), Baramulla held a press conference at Dak Bungalow here to disseminate essential information regarding the do’s and don’ts during Model Code of Conduct (MCC) along with the guidelines established by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
He was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police, Amod Nagpure, Additional District Development Commissioner, Syed Qamar Sajad and SP Sopore, Divya Dev.
The DEO informed the media about the nationwide enforcement of the MCC following the announcement of the election date by the ECI and stressed that it is mandatory for every individual, including government employees, members of political parties, and any ordinary citizens, to strictly adhere to these guidelines during the election period.
He assured the press that the district administration is fully prepared and has meticulously organized all necessary arrangements for the seamless conduct of the elections as per the schedule announced by the ECI.
Emphasizing the significance of voting, Minga Sherpa appealed to the public, urging them to exercise their democratic right by casting their ballots.
