Season’s Coldest Night Recorded in Jammu Kashmir’s Srinagar at -1.2°C
SRINAGAR: Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded its coldest night of the season as the temperature dropped to minus 1.2 degrees Celsius.
According to details available with the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), minimum temperatures showed slight improvement across parts of Jammu and Kashmir. However, Srinagar experienced its season’s coldest night with the mercury dipping to minus 1.2 degrees Celsius.
In Qazigund, the temperature settled at minus 1.4 degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam recorded a low of minus 2.3 degrees Celsius. Gulmarg, a popular ski resort, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 0.6 degrees Celsius.
Notably, the Meteorological Department has forecast dry weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir until November 23. (KNO)
