Man Shot Dead by Unknown Assailants in Jammu
SRINAGAR: A man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Jewal Chowk area of Jammu on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
An official said that the victim, who was traveling in an SUV, was attacked by unknown persons already present at the location.
“Four bullets were fired at the man, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to the Government Medical College in Jammu, where doctors declared him dead on arrival,” the official said.
The attackers fled the scene after the incident, prompting police to launch a massive search operation to apprehend them. Investigations are underway to identify and locate the culprits. (KNO)
