Corruption complaints
In the recent past different media outlets from New Delhi and some local media organizations have reported about the growing complaints of corruption in the administration.
In the wake of media reports and after meeting scores of delegations Lieutenant Governor has expressed his displeasure over such complaints and has asked the officers to be transparent and available for the common masses.
Lieutenant Governor is reportedly not happy with his administration and police. He is also ready to face media criticism and has asked police not to harass journalists if they report any genuine reports about the administrative neglect and other such rot in the society.
In the SAC meeting recently he took slew of decisions to reassure people that the central government was ready to help them and end bureaucratic delay and laxity in UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
The assurance cannot only change the ground situation in Jammu and Kashmir as the complaints of corruption are only growing with each passing day.
He will have to show some action against the officers responsible for the complaints so that people can get a feel that it would not be as usual if they come out against the officers to expose their misdeeds.
