Grenade lobbed at CRPF camp at Srinagar’s Noorbagh, street dog killed
Srinagar: A street dog died after suspected militants lobbed a grenade at a CRPF camp in Noorbagh area of Srinagar early Friday morning, officials said.
They said the grenade was lobbed on the G/61 battalion of CRPF around 6:30 am this morning, but it missed the target and exploded on the road.
Although the CRPF personnel escaped unhurt, a street dog died on the spot after receiving splinter injuries, an official said.
He said the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KNO)
