Unfolding events
Some of the recent events in Jammu and also in the Kashmir valley have unfolded the brewing anger among the common people over the decisions taken by JK administration especially in the backdrop of abrogation of article 370.
The voices are becoming visible in both the regions against the decisions taken by the government right from delimitation commission to the recent decision to impose property tax.
While the Kashmir based MP’s have decided to stay away from the proceedings of delimitation commission, Jammu chamber of commerce and industry in a recent press conference said that they will oppose tooth and nail the decision taken by the government to impose many taxes including property tax and said that they are not in a position to pay any tax.
The delimitation of assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir is a part of the BJP’s “larger plan to divide and pit” regions, religions and communities against each other, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti alleged in a recent tweet over this issue.
“The tearing hurry with which GOI (the Government of India) is railroading delimitation in J&K has raised genuine & serious apprehensions about the motives of this exercise. It’s a part of BJP’s larger plan to divide & pit regions, religions & communities against each other, she said.
