CRPF trooper injured in Pulwama grenade blast

A paramilitary trooper was injured after unknown persons lobbed a grenade on police station Kakpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday evening.
A police official said that suspected militants attacked the police station with the grenade.
“In the blast one CRPF trooper Sonu Kumar of 41 bn sustained splinter injuries,” he said.
The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, he said.
The cops manning the main gate opened some aerial shots. Soon after the incident, police launched searches in the area to nab the attackers, the official said. (GNS)
