JKAACL organises Painting Competition at GHSSB Poonch to mark Children’s Day
POONCH, NOVEMBER 14: Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Rajouri/ Poonch today organised on the spot painting competition here at Boys Higher Secondary School for Boys (GHSSB) Poonch.
A Large number of students from Government and Private Schools participated in the event held under the guidance of Secretary JKAACL, Rahul Panday and closely monitored by Additional Secretary JKAACL, Sanjeev Rana.
Around three hundred budding artists participated and made on the spot paintings on different topics. The event was held with due adherence to Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
The event was held with the support of district administration, Chief Education Officer and Principal of the host school, Sudarshan Sharma.
Chief Education Officer, Abdul Majid also visited the spot and appreciated the outstanding artistic work of young artists.
A team of three jury members Tariq Mehmood Saifi, Umer Hassan and Shazeb Qayoom evaluated the work done by young artists..
In his address, Dr. Alamdar Adam, Special officer for cultural Activities Rajouri-Poonch, expressed gratitude to Chief Education officer Poonch and Principal Govt Hr Secondary School Boys for providing due support for successful conduct of the event. He also thanked parents of young artists their school heads, electronic and print media for their cooperation in the conduct of the activity.
