Director RDD visits Kulgam, reviews progress, achievements of RDD in district
Stresses concerned to redouble efforts to achieve targets
KULGAM, JANUARY 14: The Director, Rural Development Department (RDD) Kashmir, Tariq Ahmad Zargar today visited Kulgam and chaired a meeting of officers to review progress on different flagship schemes under implementation in the district.
During the meeting, the Director reviewed progress and achievements made under PMAY-G, MGNREGA, B2V, 14th FC, RGSA, CAPEX and other flagship schemes.
The Director was informed through a powerpoint presentation that against the target of 14.80 lac mandays, 14.68 lac mandays have been achieved with a release of an amount of 37.56 crore as wages.
It was also informed that there is 100 percent geo -tagging of works and the district has made 99 percent timely payment with 100 percent Aadhar seeding.
It was also revealed in the meeting that u 14th-FC 3651 works stands completed with an estimated cost of 37 crore.
ACD informed the chair that under District CAPEX 2021-22, expenditure of 11.36 crore have been made and 801 works stands completed.
He also apprised the chair that 61, B2V-3 works have been completed with an expenditure of 2.81 crore and under PMAY-G out of 1714 units 1401 structures have been completed with an expenditure of 20.44 crore.
Director instructed the concerned to redouble efforts to achieve targets well in time and to identify land for construction of new Panchayat Bhawans under RGSA and to prepare forest convergence plan.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, District Panchayat Officer, Executive Engineer REW, Block Development Officers, AEE and other officers of the Rural Development Department.
