With an eye on business traders aware people about covid sops

Srinagar
After opposing the weekend lockdown in Kashmir valley, traders on Friday were trying to educate people and aware them about the covid sops while they come out of their homes to go for the shopping and to visit the markets of Srinagar.
Earlier the administration decided not to start the weekend lockdown from Friday afternoon and allowed the traders to have a normal business day on Friday.
Traders were seen giving masks to the shoppers and also to the bystanders in the markets of Srinagar and urged them to enter the shops only with the masks.
According to KNT in its news report on awareness about the covid sops on Friday it has said as follows.
In a bid to avoid Covid induced lockdown, traders in Srinagar city centre urged all to follow Covid-19 related SOPs.
organized an awareness program in the heart of the city. They asked people to strictly adhere to Covid Appropriate Behaviour in order to avoid lockdown.
People were also educated and made aware about the ill effects of drug abuse.
“We organized this awareness program to impress upon all to follow Covid-19 related SOPs. Traders were specially made aware about the impact of the lockdown over the economy and to avoid the lockdown it was impressed upon all to adhere to the guidelines of the government in letter and spirit,” one of the traders said.
