Burglars loot eatable items from Srinagar shop

Police have taken cognizance after a theft incident occurred at Mominabad area of Batamaloo Srinagar.

Reports said that burglars looted eatable items including mustard oil, tea, rice, flour from a shop.

The proprietor of the shop ‘Ghulam Rasool Dar & Sons’ appealed to the police to nab the miscreants and take the issue seriously.

He said that some of the CCTV cameras have been damaged by the burglars. “Incidents of theft are on rise in the area. It’s high time police take action and nab the culprits,” he said.

Police visited the shop and registered a case. (KNT)
