For the people
J&K administration has not only made e-office possible but has undertaken many power projects so that people of Jammu and Kashmir get a quality life.
In this direction recently LG Manoj Sinha said that several power projects were inaugurated in both Jammu and Kashmir Division, in the last few months, with an aim to improve the quality of life of the people of J&K.
With the coming up of Ladakh- Jammu Kashmir- Punjab transmission line project, there will be no dearth of power availability in J&K.
The Government machinery is doubling its efforts to reduce the power deficit; implementing the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) project; providing curtailment free quality power to the end-users in the areas with 100% Smart Metering to reduce the power deficit and improve the power system in the UT.
Recently the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir assured every possible support from the administration to ensure effective and timely completion of the mega project.
With the massive investments coming to Jammu and Kashmir, uninterrupted power supply is the need of hour. Government is trying to double the generation capacity of power and very soon Kashmir would be power surplus if these projects are completed on time.
The way the central government is also providing the funds to the power sector, it seems certain that the industrial areas of Jammu and Kashmir will get uninterrupted power supply in the coming years.
