First COVID-19 case of Kashmir tests negative for the virus
A lady from Khanyar area of Srinagar, who was first positive case of Coronavirus with a travel history of Saudi Arabia has tested negative for Coronavirus.
Speaking to The Kashmir Walla, Dr. G. H. Yatoo Nodal officer for Coronavirus at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, said that the 67-year-old woman has tested negative for the virus.
He said she is still at Institute and will be kept in quarantine for a period of 14 days after that it will be decided whether to discharge her.
He also stated that there are sixty-seven people under quarantine and forty in isolation ward. “We are awaiting forty more results today,” Dr. Yatoo told The Kashmir Walla.
She is fine and the anti- viral drugs recommend by World Health Organization has helped her to recover and is undergoing treatment at isolation ward, he added, Pertinently there are 41 cases of Coronavirus so far with two deaths and two recoveries. (With inputs from KNO)
