Srinagar:As the road mishaps are rapidly increasing with each passing day in Jammu and Kashmir, one more accident has taken place today in Sopore area of Baramulla district. In the mishap, a mini-bus driver sustained injuries and has was subsequently shifted to hospital for the treatment.
Reports said that a minibus bearing registration number JK01J-9633 lost control and rolled into a deep gorge near Baba Shakoor-ud-Din in Watlab area of Sopore. In the mishap, the driver was critically injured and subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital where from he was referred to Srinagar hospital for the specialized treatment.
It is Pertinent to mention here, the road accidents in J&K are rapidly increasing with each passing day. Earlier on Wednesday evening, 17 girl students and a teacher were injured after a bus rolled down in Ganderbal.
Last week, 35 people were killed after a bus met with an accident in Kishtwar and 11 people lost their life in Mughal road accident same week.
