Tourism projects
Tourism projects are in the focus especially those which are being funded by central government.
Recently Commissioner Secretary Tourism UT of Jammu and Kashmir reviews projects under Swadesh Darshan 1.0, PMDP.
She had threadbare discussion on various issues including smooth transfer of records from Tourism department to concerned executive engineers, prioritizing completion of development projects being executed under Swadesh Darshan scheme, status of Parmandal Utterbehni DPR sanctioned under PARSAD scheme, resolution of issues related to funds disbursement for project entrusted to JKPCC, opening and mapping of zero balance accounts by R&B divisions besides other matters.
She asked the concerned officers to assess the current pace of work execution and identify areas for improvement. She also asked them to review submission of revised estimated UT Capex budget project.
Yasha Mudgal directed the officers for ensuring completion of all projects being executed under Swadesh Darshan 1.0, PMDP and CAPEX budget within the stipulated timeframe. She asked the HoDs and executive agencies to submit a status report regarding the present status of all their projects with complete details of physical and financial achievement.
Commissioner Secretary instructed the engineers to review the status of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) preparation for UT CAPEX budget projects. She emphasized the importance of completion of DPRs, processing of approvals and tendering before the working season.
