People in quarantine complains of inadequate facilities

Srinagar, May 14 (KNS): A group of people evacuated few days back from Jammu and other parts of country on Thursday complained of unhygienic facilities at the quarantine centre established in GDC Handwara.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) over phone, they said the quarantine centre lacks basic facilities which poses them serious threat to become the Covid-19 victims.

They said that they have also completed the quarantine period before they were evacuated from jammu and other parts of the country.

However when KNS contacted ADC Kupwara Nazir Ahmad Lone, he refuted all such allegations and stated that quarantine centres are fully equipped with necessary arrangements. When asked about the claims made by quarantined people, he said administration can’t provide them five star hotels facilities. (KNS)
