Omar Abdullah has been very prompt on twitter about any utterance of State Governor Satya Pal Malik. While reacting to his statement that all the government orders indicating unrest in Kashmir were invalid, Omar sought CBI inquiry into the entire episode so that responsibility is fixed and rumours are killed once for all.

Memories in politics are short-lived, otherwise both Omar and Mehbooba Mufti as Chief Ministers in the crisis handed over even the law and order of Kashmir to the Union Government. Omar Abdullah could not even open or impose curfew during 2010 unrest as then Union Home Secretary Mr Pillai used to announce it from New Delhi. Having said that, State Governor should pay heed to the demand of Omar Abdullah for CBI inquiry into the invalid government orders, circulated recently on social media.

Fake orders were circulated under the signature of senior government officers. This is not something that can be dismissed with a simple sound bite, said Omar Abdullah while reacting to Governor’s claim that they were invalid orders.

No order is valid. If someone sneezes in Lal Chowk, by the time the news reaches Governor’s house, it is projected as a bomb blast.
