Awareness camp on KCC held in Ganderbal
District Agriculture Department today organized an awareness camp on Kissan Credit Card (KCC), here today.
District Development Commissioner, Shafqat Iqbal was chief guest on the occasion.
ADC Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CPO, Anika Mushtaq, Chief Agriculture Officer, District Lead Bank Manager, BDC Chairpersons, representatives of RESTI and scores of farmers attended the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC urged the farmers to avail the extension and financial aid provided to the farmer through various schemes.
He urged the concerned department to cover all the left-out farmers of the district under the scheme by this March.
As many as 200 fresh KCC sanction letters were distributed among the beneficiaries, on the occasion.
