Joint Director paid surprise visit to super -50, schools of Ganderbal district

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 27: Joint Director of School Education Kashmir, Suraya Bano today paid a surprise visit to various schools of district Ganderbal. She was accompanied by Field Advisor Sanjay Kumar and Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Nahida Nelofar and other officers of the department.

The team visited Government Boys Higher Secondary School Ganderbal were Super-50 centre have been established by the department. Joint Director interacted with the students enrolled in the centre and enquired about the syllabus they have completed till date. She also interacted with the faculty members and enquired about the facilities abailable at the center.

She discussed various issues with the teaching faculty and was briefed by the school administration about the routine monitoring of the super-50 centre.

Later, the team visited Government Boys Higher Secondary School Wagora Ganderbal where the Joint Director said that School Education Department has been trying its level best for improving the quality of education in Kashmir for which an effective monitoring mechanism has been put in place. She emphasized on the school Heads to take necessary steps to ensure punctuality of staff in their schools.
