District admin retrieves 70 kanals encroached land in Shopian
SHOPIAN, FEBRUARY 28: A mega anti-encroachment drive was launched by Tehsildar Shopian Bilal Ahmad, during which 70 kanals of government land was retrieved in Hanjipora and Feeripora Shopian.
District Development Commissioner Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin, said that the drive for removing encroachments would continue till the whole encroached land is retrieved in the district.
The district administration has advised the people particularly those residing along the road side and river banks, to remove encroachments on their own or face strict action from the district administration.
