LoC shelling starts in Poonch creates panic

Police and authorities in Jammu said that Pakastani army resorted to heavy shelling on several forward posts in Poonch district of Jammu. Many news agencies quoted defense spokesman saying that Pakistan Army resorted to firing and mortar shelling on forward posts and villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district on Monday.
Army said that in Shahpur sector of Poonch Pakistani army resorted to heavy motor shelling and the forces from this side were giving befitting reply. Reports from Poonch said that this fresh LOC firing on Monday has triggered panic and scar among the people living all along the border. There have been lot of lulls in the border skirmishes in the recent past. this fresh spell of border shelling has resulted in lot of panic among the villagers near living the forward posts.
