Rs 373 cr extended under Credit Action Plan 2019-20 in Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, MARCH 11: A DLRC meeting was convened under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal, here today to review the performances of the banks for quarter ended December 2019 in the district.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Ganderbal, Zonal Head- JK Bank Zone Central -2, Lead District Manager, Cluster Head and Director RSETI Ganderbal besides DDM NABARD, District bank coordinators and participants from the line departments.

Lead District Manager briefed the meeting about the achievements of the banks operating in the district under District Credit Plan 2019 -20.

The meeting was informed that the total credit layout of the district is 594 crore against which the banks have disbursed an amount of Rs 373 Crore upto December 2019 under DCP 2019-20.

It was given out that Rs 175 Crore was extended under priority sector and 197 crore under non-priority sector, registering proportionate achievement of 63%.

Deposits of the district have increased by 13.4% and advances by 15.61% in the district while CD ratio stood at 68%.

Potential linked plan for 2020-21 was also launched during the meeting which was deliberated upon by the participants.

After a brief discussion the District Credit Plan for the financial year 2020-21 was approved with the total layout of 635 crore.

The meeting also discussed the achievements of RSETI Ganderbal. Director RSETI gave an overview of the work and targets achieved upto 31 December 2019.
