BJP made law ‘hostage’ across country: JKNPP
Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) on Friday lambasted on BJP and said it has made the rule of law “hostage” across India. Party also criticized the selective approach of BJP government and added those belong to other than BJP are being evacuated from government accommodations while BJP men who doesn’t own any official position enjoys ministerial accommodations in J&K.
Talking to media persons in Jammu, JKNPPs senior leader Harsh Dev Singh criticized the approach of BJP government both at Central and UT level. He said the party has made rule of law “hostage” across the country and runs affairs as per its whims.
“BJP has made law hostage both at Central and UT level which has given birth to uncertainty and lawlessness”, Singh said and added, “Party runs affairs of the Country as per its whims and wishes which in deplorable for countrymen”.
He lashed out at BJP leaders and said that they have no respect and honor for law. “Be it at Central level or UT, BJP leaders and its activists are dishonoring law and trampling it under feet”.
Singh alleged that BJP leaders have grossly misused its position and have occupied Government residential quarters across UT arbitrarily. “Political leaders of other than BJP are being evacuated from Government residential accommodations by force using bulldozers but little known of BJP have occupied ministerial accommodations which vindicates BJPs autocratic approach”, he said.
While criticizing the rule of Modi led BJP Government at Centre, JKNPP leader said that the freedom of expression has been stifled across Country as no one is being allowed to speak freely against injustice. “Those who wish to speak with liberty are being muffled by agencies as investigations are being ordered to keep them silent”, he said and added, “BJP is acting as Judge, Jury and Executioner across the Country”.
While appealing Lieutenant Governor of J&K to intervene and implement law at uniform level, JKNPP leader said, “Rule of law under BJP Government is absolutely missing”. (KNS)
