Covid 19: Authority stop ongoing cricket match in Qaziabad
Authorities on Wednesday swiftly acted in Kralgund Qaziabad of Ganapora Village and stopped the cricket event which was held earlier in sports field of Ganapora.
According to reports reached to KNS said the final match was held today in the morning and huge number of Spectators was watching the event. However the district administration has earlier announced lockdown and no gathering is allowed in the district.
The Deputy Magistrate Qaziabad Bashir Ah Bhat told KNS, that in the morning we were informed about the event and we swiftly reached the spot and stopped the event. He further said in wake of the rising cases of coronavirus the authority has imposed lockdown and we are not allowed to happen any event in the area, this is the reason we have stopped the event. We are looking into, the organizers of the vent will be taken to task, he said. (KNS)
