Flood-like situation, landslides continue to cause havoc in PeerPanjal region

Flood like situations in PeerPanjal region due to heavy rainfall from last night.

A 35 year old man Mohd Shokit Son Mohd Hussain Resident of Gola Nari village of Manjakote tehsil died when a Cattle Shed Collapse . His body was removed from the debris site by locals of the area, said officials.

Similarly, in Mendher Tehsil of Poonch District at least five buffalos have been perished when a cattle shed of Haji Aslam collapse due to heavy rainfall from last night , The rescue operation by locals was going on, one local said said.

most of the rivers are following over danger mark and Normal life has been disturbed as Many roads are blocked due to landslide and bridges are collapsed in the region.

Kalajhangar Bridge has been damaged due heavy land sliding resulted in disconnecting of many villages from tehsil headquarters.

Meanwhile district administration has issued an advisory and control rooms established at tehsil level and requested people not to move towards vulnerable and flood prone areas and stay at safer places.
