In its continuous offensive against menace of drug abuse, Srinagar Police Continues its war against drugs. Srinagar police on Saturday arrested a drug peddler, and 43 bottles of codeine were recovered from him.
In a statement to KNS reads, Police Party of Police Station Nigeen led by SHO PS Nigeen under the supervision of SDPO Zakoora, established a Naka at Power Grid Habbak Naseem Bagh during which one person namely, Feroz Ahmad Mir, S/o Mohd Sidiq Mir, R/o Mir Mohalla Soura
He was apprehended along with his Scotty and on search 43 Bottles of Codeine (Isorex) were recovered from his possession, the accused was arrested on spot.
In this regard a case FIR No. 145/2020 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Nigeen and investigation taken up.
Srinagar Police is committed to continue its offensive against the drug peddlers and shall make every Endeavour for a drugs free Srinagar. (KNS)
