Some of the recent developments have forced the mainstream political leadership of Kashmir to think out of box for the political fight against New Delhi in order to get back special status which was snatched on August 5, 2019.

The Supreme Court gave all the powers to the administration for the restoration of 4G services; they did an ornamental restoration in two districts of Jammu and Kashmir and said that it would be a gradual process. Recent order by the JK administration said that 4G curbs will remain in the rest of districts barring those two up to October 21, 2020.

The trigger came into the media circles when the court announced the Babri demolition verdict giving a clean chit to all the senior BJP leaders including Former Deputy Prime Minister L.K Advani, some of the recent decisions by the courts have not gone well with the people of Kashmir especially with the political leaders.

Minorities have been shaken in entire India due to the recent developments and Muslims in particular feel the heat of the situation. Both Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have been openly talking about the plans of New Delhi to reduce Muslim majority Jammu and Kashmir into a minority.

Farooq Abdullah in a recent interview said that the BJP government was working to make Jammu and Kashmir a Hindu majority area by giving domicile certificates to all people who want to have citizenship of the area.
