The families of Rajouri village are waiting for the fulfillment of promises done to them by LG Manoj Sinha when he recently trekked on foot to reach to these families with a message from Narendra Modi that they will get justice and assured them that the government will extend all help to them in this hour of crisis.

In the official press release, LG Sinha said, “I visited the families. I have expressed my sympathies (to them). I have assured them that the Prime Minister of India has asked me to convey to the families that there will be justice and they will be taken care of.”

Recently on the instruction of LG Sinha, the families were to exhume the bodies from the North Kashmir graveyard so that they could give them a burial in their native village.

The families have suffered a lot mentally and emotionally in the past several weeks and the administration along with police were not forthcoming and cooperative with them when they were trying to get the bodies back.

It is in place to mention that on July 18, the Army had claimed that it killed three militants in an encounter in Amshipura village in the higher reaches of Shopian.

Army initiated an inquiry after reports appeared on social media that the three men were actually laborers from Rajouri district and had gone missing in Amshipura.

The families of the trio had also filed a missing complaint with the police and now it is proved that they were killed in a fake encounter as their DNA samples matched with their parents.
