Political alliance recently formed by mainstream political parties including National Conference and PDP is going to set its agenda and pace in the coming days. Although the central government has said that the statehood would be given back to Jammu and Kashmir but the recently formed alliance is not inclined to be its taker in the near future.

Farooq Abdullah has said that very soon there would be more meetings and the agenda would be set on how to go ahead in order to give visible resistance to the New Delhi plans to disempower people of Jammu and Kashmir including Ladakh region.

Farooq Abdullah told the media that they will soon meet again and give shape and direction to the alliance so that people of Jammu and Kashmir including Ladakh get a platform and voice to fight for their rights in democratic means and peacefully.

Mehbooba Mufti arrived at the residence of Farooq Abdullah in full media glare for the first time as she was invited by Abdullah’s when they visited her residence a day earlier to enquire about her health as she was set free by the government after 14 months of detention.

Mehbooba Mufti, according to the insiders who have presented in the meeting, stressed on fighting for the release of all political detainees in Jammu and Kashmir including separatists. She has already said in an audio message released on a twitter account just after one hour from the release that thousands of people have given their lives for the Kashmir dispute and it should be resolved without any further delay.
