Four men from south Kashmir go missing in New Delhi

Four people from south Kashmir’s Shopian district have been missing since yesterday from New Delhi, their families said.

The families of the missing youth told a local newspaper that they have not been able to contact their kin since yesterday and have lodged missing reports.

Two people along with the loaded-truck loaded have been missing from Azadpor Mandi, New Delhi, reported Kashmir Despatch.

The families identified them as Yawar Ghulam Wani, son of Ghulam Mohd Wani, and Dawood Ahmad Thoker son of Mohd Yousuf Thoker, both residents of Chakoora Shopian.

While two more people have been missing from Jamia Masjid, New Delhi since yesterday. Their families identified them as Suair Ahmad Wani, son of Abdul Rashid Wani, a resident of Shahlatoo Shopian, and Arif Bilal Dar, son of Bilal Ahmad Dar, a resident of Sharatpora Shopian.

Meanwhile, a police officer told the newspaper that investigation has set into motion after the families lodged a missing report of their dear ones.

Earlier, last week, two sibling ferrying animals had gone missing from Uttar Pradesh. The siblings, who were identified as Younis Ahmad Dar and Faisal Hassan Dar from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, were later traced in New Delhi.
