Gunfight rages in central Kashmir
Gunfight broke out in midnight between the government forces and militants in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
“Encounter has started at Beerwah area of Budgam. Police and security forces are on the job,” the police stated.
On Thursday night, a gunfight had broken out in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, too, wherein, as per a local news agency, two to three militants are believed to be trapped.
