In order to combat the second wave of covid-19, JK government has decided to take serious decisions on the ground in order to avoid further spread as already thousands of people in the past few days have tested positive to this virus.

Every wing of life has been impacted by the second wave of the virus and with the holy month of Ramdhan already in progress, people of Kashmir valley are feeling the heat of the situation due to the growing cases.

While the authorities have claimed that they will ensure the supply chain of hospital oxygen supply will not be allowed to break already there are reports that the growing cases cannot be tackled in the covid designated hospitals if the government will not start to get some more space and beds along with oxygen supply to combat the virus.

In such a situation the government has already closed all educational institutions till 15 of May and the private coaching centers have been closed and it is most likely that the closure of these centers would be extended.

Private transport and public transport are still moving and the government in its latest sop’s has asked the passenger transporters not to do any overloading and adhere to the latest norms for the covid while plying their transport on the roads of Jammu and Kashmir.
