In the recent past JK administration has taken a number of steps to flatten the curve of covid-19 second wave here. First day closed all educational institutions including schools, colleges and universities.

They also closed down all the coaching institutions so that the young people are not infected by this covid-19 virus. Recently the government amended its earlier order that the teaching and non teaching staff should be in the educational institutions.

Sensing the need of hour the government has now said that teaching and non teaching staff was not required for any educational establishment in Jammu and Kashmir.

While the educational institutions were closed earlier but teaching and non teaching staff were going on to these institutions as required by the government order.

It was making these thousands of employees who are on staff in different educational institutions, vulnerable to infection of covid-19.

These employees have welcomed the decision of the government as the second wave of covid-19 has virtually engulfed entire Jammu and Kashmir with more and more people falling prey to this virus.
