Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha has recently set the timelines for the increasing the bed capacity, ventilators, oxygen supported beds in entire Jammu and Kashmir besides announcing creation of 20000 beds at the panchayat levels so that people living in the rural areas could get the immediate care and treatment before being referred to the city hospitals is the need arsis.

He also gave many direction and told the health department that they should emphasizes on continuous training of nursing and paramedical staff working in rural areas

Prepare for future challenges; Scale up testing & vaccination; reach out to people with all Covid related information. He asked the health workers to work beyond their jobs so that people living in the rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir get proper information and education about the symptoms and treatment of covid-19 infection.

In order to combat the virus which is spreading at large scale especially in the rural areas, Manoj Sinha sets timelines for increasing Covid dedicated beds, augmenting oxygen availability in hospitals.

He said that It is the collective responsibility of the entire government machinery to ensure availability of all necessary Medicare facilities to the people & save precious lives through prompt response.

Such directions have come from Lt. Governor after presiding over a series of meetings besides visiting himself to the many rural areas of Jammu region in order to get the spot feedback from the government hospitals and other health care facilities.
