Vaccination drive for 18-44 years age group kick-starts at Kulgam

DC Urges people to get vaccinated, stick to SOPs

KULGAM, JUNE 14: The District Administration Kulgam today kick started vaccination drive for persons of age group from 18-44 years.

The process commenced smoothly and 07 special vaccination sites were established across the district to vaccinate the beneficiaries. The centers were established at accessible destinations so the beneficiaries could easily approach these centers and get vaccinated.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today inspected these vaccination sites and took stock of the vaccination process. He urged the eligible beneficiaries to get vaccinated at an earliest.

He added that 80 percent of the population above the age of 45years was already vaccinated and a process to vaccinate the rest persons of this age group is going on.

He also stated that adherence to SOPs is very vital at this juncture and people shall stick to SOPs to stop spread of this virus.
