Security forces say infiltration foiled in Tangdhar

Security forces have claimed that they have foiled a bid of infiltration in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara on Friday. Police said that some infiltrators tried to sneak in but the bid was foiled due to the alertness of the security forces.
After the incident, the security forces searched an area in the Tangdhar sector area of Kupwara and found that some arms and ammunition was left in the forests by the infiltrators while going back.
Security forces have said that during the searches they were able to recover arms which include an AK-47 rifle, a pistol, two hand grenades and six packets of heroin worth Rs 30 crore.
