Pak LeT Commander Among Three Militants killed in Pulwama; IGP Kashmir
Three militants including lashker-e-Toiba commander have been killed in an overnight encounter with security forces in South kashmir’s Pulwama tow, police said on Wednesday.
Inspector General of Kashmir police, Vijay Kumar told Kashmir news service (KNS), that three militants including a Pakistani commander Aijaz @ Abu Huraira killed along with 2 local militants of lashker-e-Toiba have been killed in the operation.
He said that incriminating materials including arms & ammunition was recovered while the search in the area is still going on.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Pulwama town following information about the presence of militants there, a police official said
He said the search operation turned into an encounter after militants opened fire on the security forces.-(KNS).
