Government is not lowering its guard against covid-19 infection despite the fact that there is a dip in the daily positive cases and life has normalized.

In the recent past LG Manoj Sinha has been holding the covid-19 meetings with his officers on regular basis. He has not only kept the hospitals ready both in Jammu and Kashmir regions but the government is also keeping its oxygen plants ready in case of a possible third wave.

During one of such meetings LG Manoj Sinha told his administration that the next 100 days are crucial as per the experts’ report. We need to be alert, vigilant & must adhere to Covid protocols to prevent the third wave.

Comprehensive District level plan to be prepared for IEC campaign; religious, social & community leaders to be roped in for generating awareness among people are some of the measures to be taken by the administration in Jammu and Kashmir to stop the spread of infection in future.

Earlier also the government has asked the community leaders and religious leaders to play their part so as to educate the people about the infection of covid and ask them to adhere to the CAB so that they can save themselves from the possible third wave. LG Manoj Sinha asked his administration to be prepared to face the possible third wave and also try their best to stop this wave at the ground level by educating people to adhere to the covid appropriate behavior.
