There have been many schemes from the central government for the students of Jammu and Kashmir so that they can move forward in their lives with the help of such schemes.
In order to see the pace of implementation of such schemes recently Lt Governor Manoj Sinha interacted with beneficiary students from J&K under AICTE’s Pragati & Saksham Scholarship Schemes.
While interacting with these students he said that Women are vital agents of change, their empowerment & their equal presence in the tech sector are important to build a strong community & a stronger country.
Government creating a gender-inclusive ecosystem so that women have better access to education & economic growth is the agenda of the administration in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the government, 480 talented girls from J&K have been included in the degree and diploma courses of Pragati Scholarship.
Students selected under Pragati & Saksham Schemes also shared their experiences with Manoj Sinha and thanked the government for their support especially by the intervention of scholarships.
These scholarships go a long way in the lives of students as they need such financial support to fulfill dreams and move forward in their lives. The students from Jammu and Kashmir have been able to complete the course with the help of these scholarships and they have expressed their gratitude to the government for such support.
