Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) on Friday launched countrywide special helpline numbers for students to address their grievances.
National spokesperson of Association Nasir Khuehami said, “Students of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh who are facing problems related to their college campuses anywhere in the country can call on the newly launched five special numbers (6006506230, 6006506231, 6006506232, 6006506233, 6006506234), register their complaints and get their problems addressed.”
He said, the numbers will be available round-the-clock for the students of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh across the country.
“Students can now register their problems by calling on these numbers, so that feasible solution can be provided with respective state governments, and university or college authorities,” Khuehami added.
He said, this initiative is another major step by JKSA for the welfare of students from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
“Through the special toll free number (18008919650) that was launched in June this year, around 100 volunteers are assisting students. Now, five special volunteers will be assisting students who are facing any problem or insecurity in India,” he added.
