DC Pulwama conducts extensive tour of Tral
PULWAMA, JANUARY 01: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary today conducted an extensive tour of Tral Subdivision.
The DC visited Saimooh, Chankitaar, etc to assess the progress of ongoing civil works on the Tral lift irrigation scheme and directed the Irrigation department to maintain it properly.
On spot directions were given to ADC, for demarcation of the said canal, remove all bottlenecks and properly maintain the canal as per the norms.
He also visited pasward, the ADC informed that more than 300 kanals of state land will be utilized for degree college, grid station, playground and industrial estate, DC appreciated the ADC and his team.
En-route, the DC also sealed HSB points at Baigund.
Later, the DC inspected the under construction works of Mini Secretariat Awantipora and directed executive engineers to speed up the pace of ongoing developmental works on top priority within stipulated time frame.
