JK reports 10 fresh positive cases, 473940 recovered

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18:The Government today informed that 10 fresh  positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 02 from Jammu division and 08 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 478935.

Moreover, 28 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 05 from Jammu division and 23 from Kashmir division.

Also, 1,321 doses of COVID Vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across Jammu and Kashmir to 2,45,25,557.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 478935 positive cases, 211are Active Positive (101in Jammu Division and 110 in Kashmir Division), 473940 have recovered and 4784 have died; 2351 in Jammu division and 2433in Kashmir division.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 04 cases, Baramulla reported 00 cases, Budgam 02cases, Pulwama reported 00cases, Kupwara reported 01 case, Anantnag reported 01case, Bandipora reported 00case, Ganderbal reported 00 cases, Kulgam reported 00 case and Shopian also reported no fresh cases for today.

Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 02cases, Udhampur 00, Rajouri 00, Doda 00, Kathua 00, Samba 00, Kishtwar 00, Poonch 00, Ramban 00 and Reasi also reported no fresh cases for today.

The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.

It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
