Unidentified body found in Srinagar outskirts
An unidentified body was found in the Summerbugh area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
After a passerby informed the police about the lying body in Brick kiln 11D Summerbugh area. the official said, a party rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
So far, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.
The body has been shifted to a mortuary at the SMHS Hospital Srinagar. “After completing medico-legal formalities and confirming the identification, the body would be handed over to his legal heirs,” he added. (KS)
