Man dies in self-immolation bid in north Kashmir
A 29-year-old man who immolated himself, succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
A resident of the Argam area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, the deceased poured kerosene on himself in a bid to end his life, officials said,
His family members doused the flames and rushed him to the district hospital Bandipora in critical condition. From Bandipora he was referred to SMHS Srinagar, however, he died on the way.
After completion of medical-legal formalities, the dead body was handed over to legal heirs. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KS)
